INSOMNIAC

I'm so tired,
I cant seem to fall asleep

So, I stay awake
my eyes are open
Insomnia

My mind is like a clock it won't shut off,
it won't let me rest,
it keeps me moving and
thinking, and doing
I've become a zombie.

So, I stay awake
my eyes won't shut
Insomnia

My eyes they burn now, red an swollen,
I've lost too much sleep now,
They itch,
now they dart and circle,
the room is a blur

and I'm still awake
eyes propped open
Insomnia

My body is gone, weak and frail,
muscles are lack,
all they do is twitch and quiver
no movment now
I'm DEAD.

My eyes are closed now
never to see the light that
once was the day.
